This live 3-day workshop will take place in Brisbane from 9am-5pm each day. The training venue is at the QA Hotel in New Farm. Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea will be provided.

Part 1 EMDR training is highly experiential, with a combination of didactic teaching, discussion, small group exercises and practicums. A large component of the training will be spent practicing EMDR skills in small groups, under close supervision from Caroline and other Accredited EMDR Consultants. This involves experiencing EMDR Therapy in both the role of therapist and client, and working on your own personal material during the practicums.

You will come away from the Part 1 training feeling motivated, skilled, and immediately ready to use EMDR Therapy with your clients. You will receive a detailed EMDR training manual and ongoing access to an extensive collection of electronic EMDR Therapy resources. 

Training Eligibility:

The EMDR Association of Australia have specific eligibility requirements for health professionals to undertake an Accredited EMDR Basic Training Program. Please check EMDRAA’s training eligibility criteria before registering for this Part 1 EMDR workshop.

Essential Pre-workshop Preparation:

You will be required to complete 3 hours of pre-workshop material prior to attending the live workshop. You will receive this via email in the lead-up to the training workshop.
