EMDR Consultation
Individual EMDR consultation:
Caroline is a well-known EMDR Consultant and has extensive experience providing consultation to therapists across Australia and abroad. Consultation is a vital component of the EMDR learning journey. As an advanced trauma therapy, if EMDR skills aren’t applied directly post-training, the potential for not integrating learning into practice is high. Modifications to the Standard EMDR Protocol are often required when utilising EMDR Therapy to treat complex client presentations.
Caroline is highly knowledgeable and has an infectious passion for EMDR Therapy. Motivating and encouraging in her consultation style, Caroline empowers EMDR therapists to both embed new skills into their clinical practice and extend their knowledge to become highly proficient in EMDR Therapy. Caroline also supports EMDR therapists to complete the requirements for status as an EMDRAA Accredited Practitioner or Consultant. Individual consultation provides a focused and tailored learning experience and can be counted toward requirements for EMDRAA membership and accreditation.
Caroline’s EMDR consultation services are offered online via Zoom. The investment for a 55-minute individual consultation session is $260 AUD.
Online group EMDR consultation:
Standard group sessions
These 2-hour small group sessions are suited for EMDR therapists who have completed Part I EMDR training at a minimum. Whether you are newly trained or a seasoned EMDR therapist, you can bring your tricky EMDR cases and questions to learn from Caroline Burrows and other therapists. These sessions are delivered online via Zoom. All participants have time to present an EMDR case or question, and opportunities to participate in group discussion throughout the session.
The sessions can be counted as 2 hours toward the consultation requirements for completing Basic EMDR Training, applying for full EMDRAA membership, or becoming an EMDRAA Accredited Consultant. Please note that these sessions cannot be counted toward requirements to become an EMDRAA Accredited Practitioner, due to the specific group consultation requirements for this accreditation level.

Accreditation-focused group sessions
These 2-hour group sessions are suited for EMDR therapists who have completed Basic EMDR Training (Part I and Part II workshops and 10 hours of consultation) and are working toward becoming an EMDRAA Accredited Practitioner or Consultant.
The sessions have an accreditation focus and are delivered online with a maximum of 4 participants. All participants have at least 30 minutes allocated to their specific accreditation learning needs and have opportunities to participate in group discussion throughout the session, to learn from Caroline Burrows and other EMDR-trained colleagues.
